Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to all users of aleria including those accessing the platform via web browsers, mobile apps, or any other services offered by The Company across all regions. By clicking "I Agree" to these Terms, the User consents to their personal data being collected and used as provided below. The Users can withdraw their consent at any time by writing to the address provided in the Clause "Contact".

Basis for Data processing

We process your personal data on the following legal grounds:Contract Performance: We process your email address, meeting data, and device information to solely for the delivery of the Services.Consent: We process audio recordings based on your explicit consent, which you may withdraw at any time.Legitimate Interests: We process usage data and analytics to improve our Services, detect fraud, and ensure security, which constitutes a legitimate interest of the Company.Legal Obligation: We may process personal data to comply, when solicited, with legal obligations, court orders, and regulatory requirements.Vital Interests: We may process personal data to protect vital interests of individuals, such as in emergency situations, when solicited in line with legal obligations.

  2. Meeting Data: Upon your consent, We collect data related to your meetings, including the date, time, duration.

  3. Audio Recordings: We may record audio during meetings, but only when the meeting organizer requested for meeting recording. Audio recordings will only commence after explicit consent has been obtained from all participants through the Application's consent mechanism, as described in Section 6.

  4. Device Information: We collect information about your IP address and system with its browser

How We Use Personal Data

We use personal data for the following purposes:

Providing the Service: We use personal data solely to accomplish the purpose of the product itself: provide the aleria service. Additionally, we may use personal data for:

  1. Customer support purposes with respect to the Aleria service;

  2. Enhancing and personalizing user experience with respect to the Aleria service;

  3. Analyzing usage trends for improving the Aleria service;

  4. Compliance with legal obligations.

Sharing Personal Data

We do not share personal data with third parties except in the following case If required by law, in response to legal processes, or to protect our rights, property, or safety.

Such transfers will only occur, upon your request, when using the service outside of UAE, and where:

  • Likely consequences of the breach;

Governing Law and jurisdiction

The laws of the United Arab Emirates as applicable in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, excluding its conflicts of law rules, shall govern these Terms. For the purpose of these Terms, the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Abu Dhabi.
